Cheat Day is crucial to the Lean Ape way of eating. Without it temptation will always have the potential to ruin your best laid plans. With it, there is always chance to eat whatever is tempting you just around the corner.
In truth once you get used to your new lower carb way of eating the desire for bread, cakes or chips is likely to diminish pretty quickly. But we’re human and we don’t want to say “never again” to any food. The fact that I can have a baguette every Saturday means I feel that haven’t given up bread forever, even though I can’t actually remember the last time I bothered to have one!
Cheat Day makes it easier to focus on your new lifestyle as being a “forever way of eating”. You are not having to give anything up since you can always have whatever you fancy once Cheat Day comes around.
Since our Cheat Day is Saturday we thought an occasional Saturday Sinners section could provide some Cheat Day Inspiration.
