Saturday Sinners#1 features:
Potatoes (lots of ‘em!): quartered and roasted in a medium hot oven for an hour with olive oil, chili, paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
Beef rib (the bigger the better) with lots of black pepper, fried in olive oil and butter till golden on the outside, pink and juicy within. Yeah I know its not the usual steak style cut but its goooood I tells ya
Obligatory salad section: green beans, lots of garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, red wine vinegar and a little feta.
Result?
Very happy Lean Apes!
Guess which one was mine!
Let me guess. The plate on the left is your’s Dave – am I right?
How could you tell?
It’s twice the size..;-)
What can I say – he’s a growing boy!
Oh yeah, delicious Dieter
Hey…stop that..you guys are seriously making me hungry and its only 10 am here where I live….Now, I just gotta do some steak grilling later today….I am guessing Dave, that you got the dinner on the right side….:)
No chance. And actually there was part of Alexis’s underneath mine too that you can’t see in the photo!
Oh yeah, guess what? There was one left so I am having it tonight, just without any cheaty carbs though.
OK, my wife picked up 3 quality rib eye steaks that cost a small fortune…oh they will taste soooo bloody good…nice thick ones too that grill beautifully….even having some baked potatoes and all….so its all your fault – Dave and Alexis…lol..
Well, I had a feast with the 1 1/2 inch thick rib eye juicy steak…oh ya..grilled to perfection..could only actually eat 1/2 of it tonight….
Lightweight!!!
Sounds good Darrell, glad you enjoyed it, and well done for being so good and not scoffing it all!!!
